The first SF2 game truly revolutionized arcades and the 8 unique selectable characters helped. The first gallery is the regular portraits taken from the select screen/vs screen/win screens, whereas the second set is from the victory screens.

It's interesting to see when comparing to later games, how specific characters evolved.
